My favourite job was probably working in a high street pharmacy. It was my job to give people the right medicines, sometimes inspect their rashes, but most importantly put people at ease - though some people would be so worried, they’d make the situation more embarrassing than it needed to be. Oh and we used to get free toothpaste samples. I loved that job.

My first gif! Thanks guys :-)

(jeez, you can see my tonsils…!)

Will new iPhone app be “Grindr for paedophiles”?

Ever wished you could receive pictures of children on your iPhone and even get alerted when they’re left unattended in the shopping centre? Now there’s an app for that.

Lost-Kidz launches in the app store on Sunday and allows blundering parents to send out pictures of their unattended children to other adults in the vicinity who also have the app installed.

Rather than put down their shopping basket and look for their missing offspring, modern parents are encouraged to faff about on their iPhone and send out an “alert” instead.

Paedophiles will delight at the detailed profiles of the unattended children, which include their photo, name, age, height, weight, hair colour and eye colour.

Stopping just short of providing little Daisy’s bra size, the app provides all the information you need to convince a passing policeman that Peter really is your son and he should just shut up and get in the car.

The makers of the app say it “significantly increases the likelihood that the child has already been noticed” and that “any approach will be witnessed” - but that’s only if a majority of parents install the app and enough are in the vicinity of the missing child.

Any responsible parent will be looking after their sprog and not fumbling about on their iPhone. Even if they did spot somebody with a child, would they challenge them - especially if the adult knew the child’s name?

It also gives any predator a perfect excuse if challenged. “I saw the alert, I was taking Jimmy to the security guard!”

Anybody who receives one of the “alerts” can be tracked by police; that’s a lot of innocent people to track if you set this thing off at Alton Towers and there’s no guarantee that any of them will have abducted a child.

Here’s a better idea - rather than faffing about with your iPhone, how about you just keep an eye on your children?

I tried to learn some Australian phrases. I think Kain cheated.

Actually, we are almost totally clueless of who this man is. We know that he runs the channel ThisIsFoxx on Youtube. We know that he is unbearably adorable. We know that we would very much like to touch his hair. That is enough information to make it into the Epic Love Commune.
